KIG is a non-profit education, training and searching organization mostly working on topics and issues related to the interests and needs of disadvantaged young people and adults. The organization mainly works on developing social, digital and academic skills of disadvantaged groups in its community. It consists of paid workers and volunteers who have experience on different topics such as sports, health, climate, waste products, digital competency and skills, animal rights, refugees, social inclusion and entrepreneurship. 

The organization was formed in 2011 as a sports club to promote physical activities and a healthy life.

Later on, it has been developed and it has started different kinds of national and international initiatives and activities providing young people and adults with non-formal learning – training activities and workshops in a lot of different fields. The organization conducts online and face to face surveys to analyze and identify the needs of people at local, national and international level.

Karaman International Group colaborations

Karaman International Group is in a close relation with local, national and international organizations, associations, enterprises and governmental organizations such as Karamanoğlu Mehmet Bey University, Gazi University, Hacettepe University, TEMA, Yunus Emre Kültür Vakfı, Türkiye Amatör Spor Kulüpleri, Türkiye Obezite Araştırma Derneği, Türkiye Bilişim Vakfı and many more.

They provide us with expertise, equipment, staff and other practical knowledge and human sources whenever we need for our activities.

At the moment, the group consists of 10 paid trainers, 180 registered members (volunteers). Principally, we are working in collaboration with private research companies, high schools and universities as well as non-governmental organizations when conducting researches, implementing teaching activities and selecting participants. KIG is giving importance to working with youth and adults:

  • From underprivileged backgrounds
  • From disadvantaged socio-economic areas
  • Having economic problems
  • Refugees and immigrants
  • Physically disabled
  • Having addictions
  • Living in rural areas

The organisation is developing new initiatives and ideas on how to promote and generate opportunities for youth and adults with fewer opportunities. KİG places major importance in involving youth and adults who want to become socially active and contribute to developing the local areas they represent across Turkey.
